Kenzie's Story...
"Hi there all of you wonderful people. My name is KENZIE and I'm a five-year-old Bull Terrier lady who is very sweet and super friendly. I have a really great personality, and I am in need of a new forever home. I love going for walks, love getting brushed, and would be happy to just to relax and sit by your side. I enjoy hugs and tummy rubs, too. I would do best in a home with older children because I am hearing impaired. Just like all the animals here, I'd love to have a new forever home with a nice yard where I could enjoy myself, and then I'd love to have a comfy and snuggly dog bed in the house so that I could always be close to my person or my family. I'm a great size, too...kind of medium size, I would say, which means that I would be a great house dog. My hair is really short, so you know right away that I would be very easy to take care of. Hopefully we can get to meet each other soon. Just come on over to our shelter, and ask our very kind Shelter Staff to introduce you to the very sweet, lovable, and delightful doggy whose name is KENZIE, and we just might discover that we are meant to be best friends "FUR"EVER. We've got great exercise yards here at the shelter; the ideal place for us to get to know one another. I'll be watching and waiting for you. Hope to see you soon. Love, Kenzie" Kennel #5

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenzie, a El Cajon Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
