UPDATE 2/21/16: Hi - my name is Ivy. I am a 12 1/2 year old Poodle/Bichon mix. I am looking for a forever home. Are you the one for me? I am still a bit scared, and will run when you try to pick me up. Once you do though, I am fine. I just get a tad nervous around people.

A home with adults would be best. No small children please. I like laying around the house with my friends, so another dog would definitely be a plus for me. That dog could teach me new tricks!

I need a fenced in yard to run play in please. I like playing with toys so would need lots in my new forever home! Give an older dog a chance. You won't be sorry!

If you have any questions, please reach out to my foster mom at jansencynthia@yahoo.com. If you are interested in adopting Ivy, submit an application!

Original Listing: My name is Ivy, I'm a 9 year old Bichon who was used to have puppies my whole life until I was finally rescued in November of 2010. I am very timid and nervous. I do like to play ball and chew my Nylabone. Patience and love is a must for me. I am doing very well on my potty training. I may make a mistake with my new home though, so please give me some time to adjust. I will need a secured, fenced in yard for my safety. Ivy should not be adopted to a home with small children. If you have the right home for me, go to www.hubbardshounds.com and submit an application. NO PHONE CALLS!

Adoption donation is $100.00

About Hubbards Hounds Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The rescue was started in 2008 and we are dedicated to providing shelter dogs, puppy mill dogs, and owner turn-ins a second chance at a good life. Director Susan Hubbard will do everything possible to ensure the care of a dog. I own 3 rescue dogs and a rescued cat, all adopted from rescues or shelters. Every dog is important and the right home is out there for all of them! "Saving one dog at a time"

Come Meet Our Pets...

We don't have a kennel, meeting a dog can be arranged by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved.

Our Adoption Process...

This rescue group does have a contract and donation requirement to adopt a dog. This helps us to ensure the dogs safety for the remainder of his/her life and to continue to rescue dogs in need to rehome them. An applicaton must be filled out on our website www.hubbardshounds.com, references checked, an interview done and a home visit check.
