Oogy's Story...
This is Oogy. He is a lovable boy who was left at the shelter, after he was found as a stray, by his owners. He was wearing a tag when he arrived, the owners were notified and let the shelter know they were aware he was missing and didn't want him. We couldn't let this perfectly healthy dog sit at the shelter and deteriorate. Bully breeds are sensitive and do not respond well for long periods of time kenneled. This boy will be going to a foster home and getting the love and care he deserves until he finds his true Furever family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oogy, a Garden City American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Garden City, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
