Moria is a beautiful, 15 pound, blonde Terrier mix that is about 10 years old. She is animal aggressive. ALL animals. She has an anxiety disorder and was initially treated with Prozac and behavior mod training. She has improved and is happy in her routine. She is also people(her people) protective. She will bite a stranger that approaches, although she quickly learns who is a friend. She is a difficult, damaged dog. She does walk on a leash and is healthy. She needs a quiet, very dog experienced home with little commotion and few visitors. NO children or other animals. With all that said she is a dear dog to her person and I so wish that perfect person would step forward to love her. She has a good heart and deserves a home of her own. If you are interested in Moria Jo, go to and submit an application. NO PHONE CALLS!

Adoption donation is $150.00

About Hubbards Hounds Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The rescue was started in 2008 and we are dedicated to providing shelter dogs, puppy mill dogs, and owner turn-ins a second chance at a good life. Director Susan Hubbard will do everything possible to ensure the care of a dog. I own 3 rescue dogs and a rescued cat, all adopted from rescues or shelters. Every dog is important and the right home is out there for all of them! "Saving one dog at a time"

Come Meet Our Pets...

We don't have a kennel, meeting a dog can be arranged by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved.

Our Adoption Process...

This rescue group does have a contract and donation requirement to adopt a dog. This helps us to ensure the dogs safety for the remainder of his/her life and to continue to rescue dogs in need to rehome them. An applicaton must be filled out on our website, references checked, an interview done and a home visit check.
