GiGi's Story...
Meet GiGi!

She is a pure bred lover! She came from a neglected home and was covered every square inch with fleas. She was full of worms as well as matted to the skin with feces. She has since been groomed, and dewormed and has had numerous baths as well as frontline plus applied to her. She is now flea free, worm free, and ready to be in your arms!

She will come with a basic care package including Precise Holistic Lamb Adult Chow, Leash, Collar, Food and Water bowl, and her CKC paperwork, vet paperwork and health records. She will also be groomed the day of departure, as well as a monthly dose of Frontline will be given to the new owner or if she is due for it she will have it applied to her. She is pee pad trained and scratches at the door. She can be trusted to be in the house alone and not make any accidents and not get into any trouble.

She is currently in her second foster home and is ready to be in a new home. Her adoption fee at a discounted price is $125.00 this helps cover his extensive grooming, her flea treatments, de worming treatments and medical expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GiGi, a Lakeland Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Lakeland, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Lakeland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lakeland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lakeland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lakeland paves the way for another one to be saved.
