Duncan's Story...
Hi, there! My name is Duncan and I am a 5 year old, silver with tan, labradoodle. I weigh about 60 pounds, but have been gentle with a 3 year old child (I will give lots of kisses, though!) and live with a chihuahua. However, I haven't ever lived around kitties, so not sure how I'd be with them. I am very laid back and just a big lug and I like to slobber after drinking water, but I am very lovable and endearing, too. I have been in the same home since I was a pup, but my owner recently died and there is no one in the family who can adopt me, so these great rescue people promised to find me the perfect new home. I have always used a doggy door and lived around my girlfriend, Kiera, a 6 year old labradoodle. She is looking for a new home, too, but we don't necessarily have to be adopted into the same family, but that would be preferable as we have always lived together. I'm the doggy on the left in the photo and Kiera is on the right. The photo was taken before we were groomed. We will need someone who is patient and will to work with us on our manners as we are used to running on 9 1/2 acres. We also love to swim if you have a pool. I am neutered, current on shots, groomed and will be micro chipped before going home with you. My adoption donation is $200 or $300 if you adopt me with Keira. We will require regular grooming. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duncan, a Phoenix Labradoodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labradoodle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labradoodle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labradoodle breeders who help with Labradoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
