George is a beautiful black boy and on the smaller side weighing about 50 lbs. George is only 2 years old and apparently had a tough life before Lucky Lab Rescue and therefore is uncertain of new situations and people. He is slow to trust, but with patience and time, is a very sweet boy. George loves his foster family and gets along great with his 2 canine foster sisters. George would be okay as a single dog, although he does watch and take cues from his foster siblings on how to act and they give him more confidence. George is learning how to play. He likes to softly chew on toys. He occasionally will get a ball if it is gently rolled a few feet. George has really come a long way from the dog that cowered all the time and was scared to be touched. He loves belly rubs and being told he is a brave boy when he overcomes a fear. George’s foster mom thinks he is a great boy. He is so sweet and huggable and with lots of love and patience is overcoming his fears. George would prefer a quieter family. Children should probably be older. He does wonderfully with his foster family’s 10-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son. George is a great boy with a lot of unconditional love to give. He is looking for that special person with a great big heart to love him back.
George is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. He is also on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. If you have lots of love and patience to give, George has lots of love to give back.
