My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dudley is a to-die-for adorable mini long hair. He came into rescue as a six month old puppy and was quickly adopted. Unfortunately circumstances changed for his family and he is back again in rescue looking for what we hope this time is his forever home.

Previously in rescue, Dudley was friendly with all. He even had a fan club of kids who would visit him. Unfortunately, due to a lack of socialization and training over the past year, he is now nervous and shy with new people. However, he is super sweet with those he knows, including children.

Dudley loves other dogs and even does well at the dog park. He enjoys playing fetch and chewing on bones. He is crate trained but like any self respecting dachshund, he would prefer to sleep in the big bed.

Dudley’s ideal home would include a young, confident dachshund to play with him and show him how to be brave in new situations.

Dudley is a very smart dog so we think he could excel at training.
