Could 2013 be my year? I sure hope so! Hey everyone….my name is Slide…know how I got that name? 'Cos when I meet you, I like to slide against you and roll over for belly rubs! I am too cute. :) I am six years old, and am on the low-medium energy scale. I love adults, and would prefer an adults-only home - or one with older children . Younger children can be a little overwhelming for me! I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home and I really need another dog in my forever home. I get too lonely by myself all day. If you are around during the day, then we could be BFFs. Playing outside is my absolute favorite! I love running around the backyard, but I also like snuggling up on the couch for a nap. A fenced in yard would be required! Long leash walks are also fun.
Do I bark? Sure I do, however only when I play with the other dogs or at mealtime. My housetraining is coming along nicely and I am accident free when kept on a schedule. I am comfortable sleeping in my crate all night, however would also make a great bed buddy. I am not too fond of my crate while my foster parents are away, however I am working on accepting it. If you are home a lot and don't need to use a crate for me, I would love that!
I love attention, meeting new people and I am super sweet. I have adjusted to life in the real world, and am now waiting for my “furever” home….could it be with you?
