Fuego's Story...

Fuego is a beautiful, petite girl with gorgeous copper eyes. She was rescued as a kitten, along with her siblings, from an auto yard. Like most cats, she can be a little shy with strangers, but once she knows you, she is the ultimate lap cat. She loves to lie on my lap when I am watching TV or reading, and likes to follow me around the house to see what I am doing.

Fuego has very good manners. Alhough she is always interested in what I am eating, she never goes on the dining room table or kitchen counter, and does not scratch at the furniture.

Fuego adores other cats, and has become a cuddle buddy to my 8 year old male kitty. I often see them sitting together and grooming and playing with each other. Fuego would be an awesome companion to your own cat, or would do well being adopted along with another VOKRA kitty. I can't imagine her without a kitty buddy, so she must be adopted to a home with another cat.

If you are looking for an affectionate, quiet and well-mannered kitty as a companion for yourself and your kitty, then little Fuego is the girl for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fuego, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
