Grizwald's Story...

Grizwald is always looking out for her brother and sisters. Since she is slow to warm up to people, Grizwold would love someone who is patient with her and lets her take her time getting to know them. She has come an incredibly long way since first coming to her fosters, and we think she'll become a cuddly kitten with a little patience and TLC. She loves other cats, as is evidenced by her affection for sisters and her foster brother (they are caught napping and snuggling together at least twice a day), and would thrive in a house with other kitties. She would especially love to be adopted with her sister Grimm as they are very close. As Grizwald is still quite shy, she requires a patient adopter who is happy letting Grizwald take her time getting comfortable. The reward will be worth it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grizwald, a Vancouver Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
