found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
It was a very hot August day, with the sun beating down, as a white ball of fluff was seen staggering alongside a road. A good Samaritan saw her and was concerned she might wander into traffic so stopped and picked her up. Her coat was so badly matted that it was impossible to tell her breed and he named her Ragamuffin. He could not keep her, so asked for help in finding her a home. Homes For Pets took her into foster care and immediately had her groomed which required shaving her down to the skin the mats were so thick. She emerged as a Poodle mix, very shy and a bit confused as to what had happened to her.
Ragamuffin's coat has started to grow in and it is very soft and fine. She is still shy but is improving as she becomes comfortable in her temporary new home. She is okay with dogs but does not interact with them, is crate trained and house trained on a schedule. She pretty much enjoys her own company but is beginning to seek out sharing space with people. Ragamuffin is a special little dog who deserves a quiet home, patience, gentle care and probably an adult family who will love her.
It is rewarding to see her beginning to trust and blossom into the sweet friendly dog that lives within her.
Ragamuffin is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $115.
