Sugar Bee is outgoing in a gentle and friendly way . He loves to “help” around the house. He loves to help with sweeping, climbs up in his foster mothers lap when she squats down to scoop litterboxes to make sure no pieces are missed, and peeks his head over the trashcan edge to make sure ‘Mom’ doesn’t overfill the trashcan. He’s also excellent at supervising the filling of the dishwasher.
Sugar Bee came to us from Alvin Animal Control with the vision in both eyes blocked. He has had surgery at Gulf Coast Eye Clinic to remove scar tissue and cysts on both eyes to help improve his vision. He still can’t see well but he can make out shapes and that’s more than enough for him to get up on the cat trees and bed or find his toys! While his eyes don’t’ look perfect, he doesn’t know he’s not perfect. He just wants to be with people.
In addition to the surgery on his eyes, Sugar Bee has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is current on vaccines. He is currently living with other kitties, as well as dogs.
