Country Boy's Story...
I'm a "got to get to know you" guy, a bit on the shy side until I know you're ok. Takes a few days for me to warm up to you but after that, watch out! I'll give you hugs and kisses and be the sweet lov'in boy I am! I love to play with the other dogs in my foster home, hunt all around the fence line and under the bushes for all of the lizards I can find in the backyard, play with my toys and chase after balls. Needless to say I'm very active and athletic! I keep my house (crate) clean. I'm obedient. My foster home is in Orange Park, Fl. and my adoption fee is $250.00. So, if you are patient, calm, loving, kind and gentle, and can get me out of doors often to play, then I'm your boy. Florida adoptions only please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Country Boy, a Pinellas Park Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Pinellas Park, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Pinellas Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pinellas Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pinellas Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pinellas Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
