My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spencer is a beautiful cockatiel who came to us with some missing feathers on the top of his head. The vet concluded he must have flown into something which caused the injury. Antibiotics were applied to the area to prevent infection and new feathers should grow in soon. The missing feathers are minimal in number and do not detract from his good looks!

Spencer is a very sweet bird. He steps up without hesitation and loves to be held. When we walk in the room he whistles to greet us and jumps to the perch by the door of his cage to get attention. He has a good appetite and is being converted to a pellet diet. He has been introduced to fresh fruits and vegetables as well.

Spencer was saved for a reason and we believe it is because someone out there needs him. He is loving and affectionate and is waiting for that special someone to come take him to his forever home!
