Maddie's Story...
We have had Maddie since she was a puppy. She hasbeen adopted 3 times. The last time she ended up at another rescue and because of the chip they linked her to us. (thank goodness) We love her and understand her. Each time we sent her to her new home we explained how she loves outside. She hates to be indoors alone. She is a good dog but the outdoors is her life. Each new owner wouold still try to keep her in or try to kennel her while they worked and each time Maddie would somehow break her way out. So please if you can give Maddie the kind of attention she needs then rescue her. She needs a fenced in yard to play and explore and she needs a family that has time to spend with her. She is smart, loving and ready to have a forever home!! She is micro chipped, spayed and shots are current!

About Our Rescue Group...
New Hope ARC was founded in 2008. i worked at a local kill shelter and i saw the need for another rescue due to over population. i started renting from a local vet and things just started happening from there. we do not recieve any city / county funding so times get tuff but somehow the public and my dedicated board members always stand behind the rescue center and we make ends meet. we are now in our own building and able to save so many more lives. we are a no kill center. we can pick and choose what animals to take in, but instead we seem to take the ones that need us the most. (sick, old, injured and depressed)although these cost the most we know if we send them away then they may never have a chance. we also pull from the shelter i use to work at. we take the ones that are scheduled for euthanization. we need really need donations in order to continue doing what we love to do...saving lives of homeless, sick and unwanted animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Henderson Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Henderson, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Henderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Henderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Henderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Henderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
