Cleopatra's Story...
Cleopatra is ALL love and fun! She is currently 8 weeks old (as of 10-23-12) and will be ready to go to her new home once she is 12 weeks. We are already accepting applications so she hopefully has her new home all lined up once she's ready! She loves playing with her brother and getting held and petted. She will be spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines for her age at the time of her adoption.

For Pit/Pit mix adoptions, OpEd requires that you own your home, have a physical fence, and have home insurance with will cover pits.

**OpEd does not adopt out outdoor pets**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleopatra, a Christiana American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Christiana, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
