Meet Viktor! He was found as a stray and his family never came to claim him. He has been residing at a boarding facility for several months now and would like nothing more than a home to call his very own! Viktor is about 12 to 24 months old and weighs about 65 pounds. He is a very friendly boy, super outgoing and with a happy spirit. He will make a super companion for some lucky family!

Adoption Fee: $150
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.

The first step to adopt any of our animals is to fill out the online application. This is normally followed up with a meeting for you and the animal and a home visit. Adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
We serve the Greater Kansas City Metro area on both the Missouri and Kansas sides of the state line. We evaluate out of town applications on an individual basis.
