My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clara arrived at New Moon on 9 August 2012 as part of an owner surrender of 6 baby bunnies. She was born on 10 June 2012 and is available for adoption.

Clara is still fairly shy but very inquisitive. She may initially run when someone enters her room but curiousity quickly gets the best of her and she will venture back out to see what’s going on. When she comes out Clara would be all over her foster family checking them. Once she gets used to her new forever family she will be quite a social little bunny. She loves to give and receive attention and would like to always be in your company.

Clara is becoming less timid everyday. She is willing to accept a petting and will tolerate being picked up when necessary but would prefer to stay on her own four paws. She is doing great with her litter training and pretty much poops and pees in her litter boxes all the time.

At the same time, she is rambunctious and a wee bit of a troublemaker. She likes to jump and chew and keep you on your toes. Clara makes up for this by being super fun to watch as she does crazy binkies and zips around the room, showing just how great life is!

Clara can walk on hardwood they do prefer carpet and will spend hours sprinting, binkying, and checking out every nook and cranny. She won’t forget about you either and will often visit by coming over and hoping onto your lap to make sure you are paying attention to them. Clara has also taken quite a liking to sea grass toys and loves to throw them around and give them a good chew.

Clara would love to have a bunny friend. She has shown definite interest in being the dominant one so a friend that is not to worried about dominance and will humour little Clara’s whims and desire would be best!
