Milo's Story...
I'm Milo, a very handsome 3 year old 32 lb mixed breed (maybe dachshund & something bigger like lab?) I'm a super good boy, housebroken, smart, and well behaved. I get along with some other dogs but need a fairly low-key home with no small kids. I'm neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $175. To find out more about me call (757) 432-9222.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Norfolk Dachshund/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Labrador Retriever for sale in Norfolk, or seeking a Dachshund/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Norfolk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norfolk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norfolk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dachshund/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norfolk paves the way for another one to be saved.
