My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

YES, this girl found herself in need. Hard to imagine a girl like this was at risk. Destiny is a gorgeous purebred chocolate lab girl. She is about 11 months old and was the victim of irresponsible ownership. Destiny was in the shelter 4 times within a 2 month period. Why? Her owner refused to keep her contained on his property putting her at great risk of being hit by a car and other cruel situations that may have caused her harm. She was also unspayed, but thankful that now she is in the care of a resonsible rescue, she only has good things coming to her. Destiny is very sweet and calm for a puppy girl her age and is now spayed. She will need appropriate young lab exercise and attention,but will do well in a house hold as she is working on house manners. She is wonderful and so deserving of being in a good home with responsible owners that will ensure her safety. Destiny is crate trained, walks decent on leash, but could use some additional obedience skills. She is working on house manners, as mentioned and, as usual for a lab, is smart and will catch on quickly. She is good with other dogs and socialized with men and women. She has not been around children that we know of, but we have no doubt that she will do just fine. As mentioned, Destiny is now spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is also microchipped and kept on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
