Huey's Story...
Huey-Aussie X Male

Huey was abandoned at a high kill shelte in mid-Oct. He's been busy getting ready for adoption and is now ready to find his forever home. Huey has striking blue eyes, which leads us to believe he as some Aussie in him. Maybe mixed with Beagle. He's very personable, friendly and active.

His adoption fee is $250 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huey, a Germantown Beagle/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Australian Shepherd for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Beagle/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Beagle/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
