Sophia's Story...
Meet Sophia! Is she not a gorgeous golden? Well, she was found as a stray and brought to a local shelter. Sophia is the sweetest, most gentle and playful girls you can ever meet. She is estimated to be 1-2 years old. Sophia LOVES to play with other dogs and seems to take on the submissive role in the group. She is working on house manners but appears to be almost house trained. She is very healthy and is ready for her new home! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Glastonbury Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
