'Where's Waldo? Here I am, waiting at RPC for someone to adopt me. I'm a very large and quiet guy. I'm learning that having someone pay attention to me and rub behind my ears are good things. I'm caution when I meet someone new, but speak softly to me and I will listen attentively. My caregivers have spent time socializing me and now I'm ready for a home where I can grow in confidence.'

Responsible Pet Care is a no-kill, non-profit shelter for cats and dogs. The animals in our shelter have been picked up as strays by the animal control officer or surrendered by their owner. Pets have been neutered or spayed, received rabies vaccinations, received distemper shots, tested for HIV and feline leukemia or Heart worm, dewormed and given flea treatments before being released to a new home.

Our Adoption Process...
Prospective adopters are required to complete an adoption application. References are contacted. Animals that are currently residing in the household must be up-to-date with vaccinations. The veterinarian will also be called. Landlord's permission is needed if the person adopting rents their home.
