I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.
My name is Lilly and I'm 8 years old! I am thinking that since I am getting a bit older, that I would rather be the "only" pup in a house without children. I have a bit of a patience issue. I am mostly blind and I get scared when I am surprised by loud noises or when I am bumped. I will growl and get a bit upset. I don't mean to be naughty, but when you are almost totally blind, it is rather scary. I do love to go outside, and am mostly house trained. But you would need to watch for my signals and let me out. I love to sleep on the big bed and am basically pretty quiet. I love to eat and will sit up on my butt to wait for my food. If you are interested in Lilly, go to www.hubbardshounds.com and submit an application. NO PHONE CALLS!

Rescue Group Info...
The rescue was started in 2008 and we are dedicated to providing shelter dogs, puppy mill dogs, and owner turn-ins a second chance at a good life. Director Susan Hubbard will do everything possible to ensure the care of a dog. I own 3 rescue dogs and a rescued cat, all adopted from rescues or shelters. Every dog is important and the right home is out there for all of them! "Saving one dog at a time"
We don't have a kennel, meeting a dog can be arranged by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved.
This rescue group does have a contract and donation requirement to adopt a dog. This helps us to ensure the dogs safety for the remainder of his/her life and to continue to rescue dogs in need to rehome them. An applicaton must be filled out on our website www.hubbardshounds.com, references checked, an interview done and a home visit check.
