Ruff Ruff! My name is Lola
|Size:||Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less||Sex:||Female||ID#:||819|
I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Well Little Lola La La La Lola continues to do well and is a healthy diabetic doggie. She is a sweet dog that accepts other dogs but really prefers her person. She also has a little separation anxiety and prefers her person to be near or to take her with her. She does OK when left, but can be a little vocal about it at first. She is crated in my absence and does well. She is potty trained and uses a doggie door when I am home. She also will use potty pads in bad weather. She is not fond of snow. If you have a winter home in Florida or somewhere warm, she would love to adopt you as her parents. She does require an Insulin injection twice a day and does eat prescription food. But she is just wonderful with her shots. If she had thumbs I bet she could inject herself. She is a stable diabetic, she does have diminishing sight but is so smart and clever you would never even know it. She walks on a leash and is an all around super dog. Rescue Group Info...
The rescue was started in 2008 and we are dedicated to providing shelter dogs, puppy mill dogs, and owner turn-ins a second chance at a good life. Director Susan Hubbard will do everything possible to ensure the care of a dog. I own 3 rescue dogs and a rescued cat, all adopted from rescues or shelters. Every dog is important and the right home is out there for all of them! "Saving one dog at a time"
We don't have a kennel, meeting a dog can be arranged by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved.
This rescue group does have a contract and donation requirement to adopt a dog. This helps us to ensure the dogs safety for the remainder of his/her life and to continue to rescue dogs in need to rehome them. An applicaton must be filled out on our website www.hubbardshounds.com, references checked, an interview done and a home visit check.
