My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Treat – female, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, tx Advantage (flea prevention), ~12-14wks, Pug/Beagle mix.

Surrender from private home.

Treat says: “WooF! My dad is a Puggle (Pug/Beagle) and my mom is a petite Beagle (~15lbs). I have short, fat legs and I am stocky with a wrinkly forehead like a Pug but I have adorable big floppy ears and markings like my Beagle mom. I will grow to be about 20lbs and will be under knee height. I’m super cute and bouncy, I love to run around with other dogs, I like kids and cats. I’d love to find a home with a loving family that can take me out for lots of walks and play time. I love playing with all kinds of toys or just cuddling in your arms. I’d be great for a home with kids that are old enough to help feed me, walk me and teach me stuff like “sit” and “shake a paw”! I am working on house training while in my foster home and I am crate training. I can live in an apartment or house with a fenced yard.”

Puggles are an active, smart and friendly mix. They tend to share traits of both breeds and are social clowns like Pugs but often have longer snouts, floppier ears and energy like Beagles. With longer snouts like a Beagle they make ideal exercise buddies and are not bothered by hot/cold temperatures like Pugs are! What a super family dog mix! They do fine in apartments with enough exercise and of course are fine in a house with a fenced yard.
