I am already neutered and housetrained.
Orlie checking in 2/26/12. I weighed 8 lbs today and my calendar says I’m two years old. So what have I been doing since the last communication??? Well, I’ve been training foster mom and she is a slow learner. So I have OCCUPIED the kitchen. Kitchen is mine. Amazing how easy it is to trick foster mom into handing over extra treats. Slice of carrot, sliver of apple…mmmmmmmm!!!! That no doubt accounts for my hitting the 8 lb mark.
Even more than treats I love pets. So I’ve had to train the mom to pay attention to me almost non-stop when she is in the kitchen. Clever, huh??? Yes, we’re a barefoot group here most of the time. I prompt the mom by nudging her foot with my soft schnozzie and whiskers and voila!!!! she goes into yoga poses balancing on one foot and stroking me with the other!!! I make sure to be underfoot as it were, even when she is giving meds to some bun!!!
I love to check in with the girls from our LA Five so I’ve trained mom to bring me the soft carrier so I can hop in and be transported to the xpen run in the other room. We larger rabbits really dislike being picked up by tose five fingered human hands. So hard on the ribs you know.
I’ve had several dates with bachelorette bunnygirls. I’m still waiting to meet the one for me!!! Meanwhile…….are you thinking of bringing a burly bun into your home to train you??? I am very qualified and longing for a furever home.
Your burly bundude, Orlando.

Update 4/13. One of life’s mysteries how there can be so many incredible rabbits looking for furever homes in Los Angeles. What is to be done??? Well, in my case I hitched myself to a star!!! That would be Appassionata, my Passion-girl. We are bonded and must go together but for the moment I seldom need to adopt the “downward facing Orlie” yoga position. Please come and visit!!!
