I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, and in need of an experienced adopter.
Hello there!!! (flutter, flutter) I landed at Rabbits Rule LA because one Saturday in August the humans in a family where I had been handed around from sister to cousin to grandma…… I lost track, decided to get rid of me. They knew about Rabbit Foundation’s rabbit adoptions at Centinela Feed because they had already brought me there to ask about rabbit care. Do you know that up to that point they fed me Pop Tarts, waffles and anything else on hand, or NOT???
Well, hay, greens and rabbit pellets were just too much money for those humans so that Saturday early, they tippy-toed up to Centinela Feed Store’s door very early and ABANDONED me there in a filthy birdcage to fend for myself until staff arrived. Staff straightaway gave me water and hay. Staff also noticed that I was behaving strangely with the hay, just tossing it around. When Michelle Kelly took a look at me she knew immediately I had MAJOR dental issues.
Indeed, my inbred cute-as-a-button dwarf anatomy had been acutely affected by the lack of proper diet. My evergrowing rabbit’s teeth had done just that. Grown and GROWN!!!! Without proper fibrous materials in my diet to wear them down, my teeth looked like a horror show on steroids. I’ve been going to the specialist every two weeks now to have my pearly whites trimmed…………..our veterinarian was so hoping my teeth would straighten out after she trimmed them short, really SHORT but my adorable little dwarf’s smushed face is not cooperating. I have another appointment tomorrow.
Am I available to adopt?? (flutter, flutter) Well, yes and no. Check the www.larabbits.org website, please. Is there a really bunny savvy human out there with really DEEP pockets and lots of time to schlepp???? That’s what it would take because I will always be very high maintenance. I may need to (gulp) have my incisors extracted to permanently fix that one problem. Right now, were I to speak to you, it would be with an adorable LITHP!!!!! A foster with the above qualifications but needing financial support for my bills would also be acceptable. Hard not to fall in love with me though, I’m told. I am the perfect 3 lb dwarf….GORGEOUS coat and eyes!!!!!
Meanwhile, here I am, making the LA FIVE really annoyed because I get some turns in the run and being about 6 months old (birthday 3/’12) I am as active as a little squirrel!!!! The big girls snort “children!!!!” at me most derisively!!!!!
With humans I am really bossy and opinionated. I love laps and pets. I do NOT approve of being picked up and held or insufficient pets. I am definitely a princess and as my name indicates, a very special girl!!!!
Nips and bunny kisses from your Curiosity.

Update 4/13. Well, I have an upcoming appointment with my orthodontist 5/1/13 and I expect to hear that my molars are perfect and I am in as good a shape orally as any rabbit still sporting her incisors. I weigh in at 3’12″ and will always have that cute baby rabbit look. Just like a little puppy I love to follow hoomins around. I love laps but insist on choosing when and where. I definitely want all four of my feet to stay on the ground. Happily hop into the carrier for transport. The other rabbits have voted me “Miss Bossy of 2013″!!! So what’s not to love??? have your people contact my people. I’m ready to boogie!!!
