I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Cherry and Kiwi are love bugs who love hugs! They are both extremely friendly and affectionate, and the male, Cherry, will put his arms around your neck to hug you and give you a kiss. They both follow people around and rub and purr constantly. If you lean over they jump up to snuggle you. Since they are so unusually outgoing and affectionate, and love to kiss and rub you, you must love cats if you adopt them!
The kitties were abandoned in late August, along with five black siblings, in an alley in Washington, DC – the entire litter of super-friendly “teenage” cats, born around March 2012, left to fend for themselves. They were heard before they were seen, hiding up and down the alley in bushes and under porches, crying loudly for people to save them from the scary outside world. They desperately wanted to be back inside and safe. Finally they had to come out for food, and neighbors fed the little cats. They were all so friendly and love people so much that they tried to follow their caretakers home, and even jumped in peoples’ laps for a snuggle when they sat on their porches! Someone called Animal Control - but the Humane Society shelter was full – the outcome would have been bad. But these lucky kitties are so great, the WHS lady called 4Paws and we went to the alley and took all of them in. The kitties were all thrilled to be rescued, and get the love they crave. Cherry and Kiwi also love each other, and so they are together in hopes of possibly being adopted as a pair.
They are neutered, have had FVRCP and rabies shots, and test negative for FIV/FeLV. Now they just need loving homes.
