Did you see those ears?! Yup Ferris has some big adorable ones. And his eyes - goodness this is one handsome boy!!
Not only is Ferris the George Clooney of dogs, he has the personality to go with it! Check out some of his rave reviews from our amazing RESCUE volunteers:
"Ferris is a ball of energy and so much fun to play with. He loves to run, chew squeaky toys and was absolutely precious playing with RESCUE pup Carly, who is about his size. The two of them hit it off so well at Pet Club on Saturday, I felt bad separating them when it was time to go. Ferris is playful and super sweet. He does pull a bit on the leash and is surprisingly strong for his small stature. He definitely wants to explore the world and is very loving and affectionate too!"
"I get the biggest kick out of Ferris.. he is so dang cute and so full of energy. He is a real puller on the leash, although i don't sense it because he is so small. Ferris just loves everyone and everything. And he enjoys the attention when we stopped for a cool drink!"
"Ferris is such a sweetie and a ball of energy. He just wanted to run with the wind. During our walk, he became quite enthralled with a lady planting flowers and wanted to join in and help. She allowed him to come over and plan in the dirt for a few minutes and I swear that Ferris's already permanent smile, widen about 3 inches. Future farmer in the making? When he does calm down, he walks well on the leash, loves to sit in your lap and enjoys his neck scratched. He is quite a wonderful little guy - he name fits him well: He is like a ferris wheel at the fair: always moving & everyone loves."
How awesome is he?! Ferris is a super great dog who is in need of a home to call his own. As you can see he has so very much to offer. Will it be to you?! He is anxious to meet you and start his new life! Fill out an application for this sweetie at www.azrescue.org.
Ferris weighed 14.3 pounds when we saved him from the kill list. p>
Rescue Group Info...
RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.
We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.
Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
