My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Zeke, new to rescue. We are looking for a great forever home for this deserving dog. He would be best as an only dog. And he is a big boy, so a home with children above the age of 14 who are used to living with big dogs would be fine. Zeke appears to love people and is a very sweet boy. He does seem to have a bit of a weak hind-end (common in the breed), so a home with little or not too many stairs would be perfect. If you are interested in meeting Zeke and providing a loving, forever home, please complete an adoption application at http://www.northwestgermanshepherd.org. The adoption donation ranges from $150 to $450 and is based on the age of the dog. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped.
