This is the absolutely GORGEOUS DEMOS! What can we say about this plush coat boy besides he is . . . DE-MOS HANDSOME GUY AROUND!! WIth those looks you might expect an aloof character - but he's quite the opposite. Demos is such an amazing, sweet, loving, and affectionate boy. He doesn't know he's 75 pounds when he tries to climb up on his foster mom's lap and cuddle with her on the couch. Just the suggestion of a belly rub has him rolled over, belly up and waiting. Demos will require a strong leader who has previous german shepherd experience. He has a very bonding nature, and loves to be with his person - but is also perfectly content waiting patiently home alone for their return. Demos enjoys the company of other dogs and interacts nicely with his foster siblings and all the many dogs in doggie daycare. He is housebroken, well versed on his basic obedience commands, and walks very well with a no-pull harness. However, he could use some training when encountering other dogs as he is so eager to greet that his excitement gets the better of him. Demos would be great in a home with other dogs and/or older children, but probably wouldn't mind being an only dog so he could be the center of all the attention and affection. The adoption donation ranges from $150 to $450 and is based on the age of the dog. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped.
