Blaze's Story...
Blaze is 4-5 yo purebred chi, approx 6 lbs. He has spent his entire life in an outdoor lot.. It took several weeks to socialize him and get him comfortable in a home environment as part of a family. He was very scaired, but now that he is in a foster home, he has learned to enjoy being a lap dog, is crate trained, and has housetrained himself. He gets along well w/the other dogs and the cat. He enjoys running around playing w/the other dogs. Not yappy. Low to medium energy boy. All pets come w/up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. Adults are also sterilized and heartworm tested prior to placement. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blaze, a Sussex Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Sussex, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sussex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sussex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sussex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sussex paves the way for another one to be saved.
