My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Lucy, and if I told you my recent adventures, you would scoop me up and take me home asap! You see, I was surrendered to a loud an noisy shelter at 11 years old after being in a nice comfy home my whole life. My housemate was surrendered, too, and the stress of the shelter was so bad, he passed away at the shelter. I was so scared and then suddenly I was sad and alone, too. Young at Heart heard about me, and the scooped me up and rescued me! I am so very sweet and slowly adjusting, but I really need to get back into a home as soon as possible. I am very skinny from my ordeal, and though the volunteers at Young at Heart are doting on me all the time, it's just not the same as my own person to love. I am very sweet and am a purr machine, and will let you pet me all day. I am healthy and good with my litterbox, so won't you come take me home!?! Pretty please!
