Gala's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Gala's Story...
You're only as old as you feel, right? Gala considers herself mature but young at heart. She is probably about 9 years old, but still active, playful, and ready for walks and hikes. She has obviously been part of a family in the past - she's housebroken, knows basic commands, walks very nicely on leash, rides well in the car, enjoys a fenced yard, and bonds easily with people.
Gala has some herding instincts, but gets along with most other dogs if given a proper introduction and time (a day or two) to get acquainted. She would do best with an experienced dog owner and kids who treat her with respect. Come meet Gala - she's ready for a new home and new adventures.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gala, a Flagstaff German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Flagstaff, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Flagstaff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flagstaff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flagstaff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flagstaff paves the way for another one to be saved.
