Onyx's Story...
Hi everyone my name is Onyx and I too was recently released from a lab prior to being tested on. I was so confused what was happening to me but am learning every day what it is like to be rubbed and petted and loved. I am learning how to use the litterbox and am being neutered next week. I love hay and kale and carrots. I never even knew these things existed!!!. I am only six months old and would love to find a forever home who would love me forever, I have a great sense of humor and very curious of my surroundings.

Would you please consider opening your heart and home to a young sweet bunny like me?

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality that most people realize until they meet a truly happy bunny. You will be a convert once you have the same experiences I have had
Come Meet Our Pets...
All bunnies are kept in foster homes so please email us and we can make arrangements for you to meet.
Our Adoption Process...
All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and agree to provide a forever home for their bun. Single bunnies are 60.00 and bonded buns are 110.00. If for any reason you are not able to keep the bun they are to be returned to the rescue.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Willy's Wabbits is a small all volunteer run rescue that helps abandoned abused unwanted and surrendered bunnies find their forever homes. We adopt to indoor homes only. All bunnies are spay/neutered and litter box trained. We are located in the Central New Jersey area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Onyx, a Hillside Dutch was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Dutch from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch breeders who help with Dutch rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
