Rocco's Story...
Rocco is an adorable 5 year old red boy. Not a mean bone in his body, gets along great with other dogs (does get a bit nervous around any unneutered male) and LOVES his kitten friend, was a bit shy with adult cats. Rocco and his brother were turned into a shelter and his brother was a bit
of a bully to him. Not sure where they came from originally but some place that was not too nice. Rocco has a scar down his spine that was most likely due to a chemical burn. Doesn't bother him and he thinks it just adds character! Rocco just wants a home where he can finally know what loving dobie parents are like, and he certainly deserves it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocco, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
