Sonny's Story...
Sonny is a 10 yr old cockapoo. Sonny came into our rescue because his owner, whom is suffering from Alzheimer's, could no longer properly care for him. He is extremely sweet and very loveable - you can't help but find him irresistable once you meet him. Although older, he still has some spunk in him and needs a permanent home that will see him into his senior years. Sonny is neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs. He also does well in car rides. Please go to www.atailtotell.com and fill out an adoption application so Sonny can join your home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny, a South Amboy Cockapoo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockapoo for sale in South Amboy, or seeking a Cockapoo dog from a breeder in South Amboy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Amboy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Amboy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockapoo breeders who help with Cockapoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Amboy paves the way for another one to be saved.
