Sue's Story...
Hi My name is Sue! and I am a beautiful chocolate brown labrador retriever/American Bulldog mix , 2 year old female weighing 58 pounds

Here is what my foster parents have to say about me
She is extremely sweet, loving everyone she meets and wanting to give kisses to them. She has grown accustomed to hugs too, wanting so very much to accept them. She is a very quick study, having learned many new behaviors and commands in the time we have had the good fortune to have her in our lives. She loves the quiet and peace of the country, which allows her to run, smell, and simply be a dog. She is calm and relaxed in the country in a way that she is not in the city. She absolutely adores the fireplace. It relaxes her in the fullest sense. She would do best as the only 4-legged member of the family, at least for now. She likes having her people around although does extremely well in her crate, including the one in the car.

She has gone thru extensive obedience training and is an excellent student

I am spayed with all my updated shots

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sue, a New York Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog for sale in New York, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
