Buddy's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Buddy's Story...
Buddy and Lil Buddy just lost their dad last month. They are in need of a great home together, one that will keep them together. Buddy is 11 years old and Lil Buddy (his son) is 6 years old. They will be neutered before adoption. They are heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. They will also be microchipped. They are being fostered in Upstate SC and will be brought on transport when adopted. Next transport is Nov 3. Please contact me for more information. Please no cats or children. They are good with other dogs. They are crate trained, but not completely housetrained. Will need love and patience in their transition period after losing their dad.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Charleston Westie, West Highland White Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Westie, West Highland White Terrier for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Westie, West Highland White Terrier dog from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Westie, West Highland White Terrier breeders who help with Westie, West Highland White Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
