Darla's Story...
Darla is a 5 month old pit/hound mix. She is petite and will probably only mature to 40-45 lbs. She is GREAT with kids and other dogs. Based on her easy going friendly temperment, we think she would also be good with cats. She walks well on a leash, is potty and crate trained and does fabulous out in public even around many distractions. To adopt Darla, please visit www.pitifulpups.com/availabledogs and fill out an application. Her adoption fee is $250. You may also call 407-476-6364 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Orlando American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Orlando, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
