Annabelle's Story...
COMMUNITY DOG IN NEED OF HOME: Annabelle is a 3 year old, black short haired chihuahua. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Energetic, she loves to run after toys and balls, and play tug of war. Smart, she has a lot of potential to learn tricks. She is currently learning 'sit' and 'out', to keep her out of the kitchen while her human(s) cook. Annabelle is currently in a home with another chihuahua and two cats, but is a very dominant little lady. She might do better in a home without any other pets, and someone who has the time and ability to continue her training in manners. While her current mommy loves her dearly, she cannot devote the time and energy to Annabelle that she deserves thanks to physical issues and an upcoming surgery. Annabelle comes with her bowl, some treats and food if requested, along with several small sweaters, coats and toys. Please contact Brenna Toell at NikitaFirestar@yahoo.com or on facebook if you have any questions, or are interested in giving Annabelle a good home, or fostering her while she is on her way to her new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annabelle, a Yuba City Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
