Michelle's Story...
Hi, I'm Michelle and I've been here now....oh golly, it seems like such a looonngg time! Since mid-September, I guess. I'm still just a kitten, and love to do all those fun and sometimes kooky things kittens are known for, but that's what makes me fun! I have a brown tabby coat with lots of ticking and hazel eyes that match my fur. I'd love to grow up in a happy and loving home, This cage is starting to feel kinda small, if you know what I mean. Could you be the one for me? I know I've gotta be the one for somebody! I sure hope it's you! I'll be waiting in Cage #111.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Michelle, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
