My Story

Albie was found as a two day-old kitten, and is somewhat unusual being an orange tabby female! She is small for her age, and weighs in at just under six lbs. She was lovingly hand-raised and bottle-fed and is a feisty little girl! Albie had surgery on January 31, 2013 to remove a colon stricture. She has recovered. Because of her colon and digestive issues, she MUST be on a special diet purchased from the veterinarian's office and must receive daily medications. Any other food will make her intestines and colon very uncomfortable and disagreeable. Albie is happy, playful, snuggle-able and purrs constantly. She LOVES attention, lazer lights, toys, and fleece blankets. She has been socialized with other kitties and big dogs. approx DOB July 2012

About the Rescue GroupLearn More

Tenth Life is an animal welfare organization that provides another chance at life to injured and abused stray cats. Our focus is on felines with extreme medical needs or ongoing conditions that make it difficult for typical shelters to afford their care.

Stage one of our mission is getting needy cats off the streets of St. Louis and into caring Foster Homes, where they await their forever homes. Stage two┬┤s goal is to open a shelter building that will house special-needs kitties in a cage-free, no-kill setting until they can be carefully placed in their forever homes.
