Precious's Story...
Precious used to live with a family who saw her only as a way to make money instead of as a living being. They bred her with a "fluffy white dog" and failed to provide proper veterinary care while she was pregnant. Precious was the best mother she could be to her pups, but as soon as they were weaned, the family dumped Precious and kept the puppies for the money they could bring. Now Precious is enjoying the comforts of a loving family and the playtime with her canine companions. She is small for a Siberian, but she will gain some weight with proper nutrition and treatment of intestinal worms. Precious gave herself to the care of her pups, now she needs someone to care for her. Due to the Siberian Husky's high prey drive
we do not recommend this breed in a home with cats or other
small pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Precious, a Boyertown Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Boyertown, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Boyertown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boyertown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boyertown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boyertown paves the way for another one to be saved.
