Balki's Story...
Hi my name is Balki and I am a 1 year 7 month old handsome Siberian Husky who is looking for my forever home. You see, my story is a sad one as I was very happy and living with my family up in New York. My family and I traveled down to Florida to visit some family members and like most Siberian Huskies I am an escape artist and managed to find my way outside the fenced in yard of the family I was visiting. One of the Jacksonville ACPS officer's picked me up as a stray as I was wandering around and checking out the neighborhood. Thank goodness I had a microchip in me. After about a week of staying in the Jax ACPS shelter my family up in New York was tracked down from the phone number identified by the microchip. My family said they would come down on a Saturday to pick me up and take me home but they never came for me. Instead they called the Jax ACPS shelter and told them to find a rescue for me as they couldn't make it down from NY to pick me up. I don't understand why my family didn't want me any more as I really loved them a lot and became very attached to them.

Then the first day of the rest of my life started when Paws 4 Humanity Inc saw me at the Jac ACPS shelter and asked about me. The next thing you knowI was riding home to my Paws 4 Humanity Inc foster family and happy to be out of the Jax ACPS shelter. I am a very good boy and am house trained, crate trained, and obedience trained and handsome if I say so myself. Some people call good looking guys like me eye candy - whatever that means.

For a Siberian Husky I am pretty good on a lead and know my obedience commands sit, down, stay, come when called, leave it, drop it and shake. I enjoy playing with other dogs both my size and smaller ones but should probably not live with cats as I like to play chase me games with them

If you are looking for one handsome, stud muffin and a great family dog I am your guy. I am great around children, love my humans, and am a very well mannered guy. If you are interested in meeting yours truly please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc and request an adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to meet me and see for yourself just what a handsome, well mannered stud muffin that I really am. My loving personality and handsome good looks will undoubtedly pull at your heartsrings where you can't resist to want to take me home forever. See you soon! Love and kisses - Balki.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Balki, a Orange Park Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Orange Park, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Orange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
