Asha (Hope)'s Story...
Asha (Hope) is a delightful bundle of about 7 months of black fur. She is a far cry from what she was when she found abandoned in the night on Bellaire in Houston, TX. She was mistaken to have had an auto accident due to the blood caused by Mange, a non contagious skin ailment.
Asha (Hope) is a delightful bundle of about 7 months of black fur. She is a far cry from what she was when she found abandoned in the night on Bellaire in Houston, TX. She was mistaken to have had an auto accident due to the blood caused by Mange, a non contagious skin ailment.
Over the last couple of months she was given medication and now Asha is what she should be - an approximate 40 lbs pretty bouncing 7 month old Lab Mix. It is an absolute delight to watch her in the dog park playing with dogs of every age prancing from one end of the dog park to the other. She is spayed and upto date on her shots. She is also undergoing her basic obedience training.
She is so perfect for any house with or without children. She has not be tested for cats but given her age, she can get accustomed to them.

About Our Rescue Group...
I found that local shelters including SPCA and Humane Society did a great job but were always restricted by space. My wife and I felt that if we could save few of them, it meant that many animals saved.
Belonging to the the Indo American Community, we felt we could educate the 200000+ strong community in Greater Houston about adoption rather than buying, micro chip, neutering/ spaying etc and contribute out little bit for the well being of animals.

Adoption events are held at various community events. We also have periodic events for micro chip and discounted vet examinations during which we showcase pets available for adoption.

Our Adoption Process...
We have an adoption fee of $150. We interview all adoptees and have home visits. We have a written adoption contract that is signed by families adopting.
