Lucky's Story...
Lucky was given her name because she is a very Lucky little girl. She was found on a sidewalk near a busy intersection at 9:30 at night. She was barely 5 weeks old and at deaths door when she was found. She was rushed to the emergency clinic where they were able to provide much needed fluids and food - she had been suffering from starvation and dehydration. She had walked as far as she could go and then just laid down... Thanks to her caring rescuer, Lucky found her way to FOCHP and the rest as they say is history. Lucky is a very loving, active, healthy little girl. She gets along great with both kittens and adult cats. She has a very loud purr motor, which she uses often, especially when she is laying in your lap and getting scratches under her chin. She looks up with very knowing eyes as if to say "Thank You" for saving me. If you would like love, gratitude and lots of "Thank You's" this adorable little girl is for you. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, deflead, dewormed and tested negative for feline leukemia. Email fochp@yahoo.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Tustin Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tustin, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tustin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tustin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tustin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tustin paves the way for another one to be saved.
