Joseph's Story...
Joseph was born to a momma who had been locked in an abandoned home. A neighbor rescued the momma from the home, but when she gave birth she was so emaciated she was unable to produce milk. Joseph has been bottle-fed since the day he was born, and as a result he is highly socialized to humans and very gentle!

Joseph is a lover. He is super affectionate and will follow you around the house trying to get your attention. If you want a kitty who is going to be a great lap cat, then Joseph is the boy for you!

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a nonprofit non-sheltering rescue group established in July 2011. Our primary mission is to provide care and find adoptive homes for orphaned newborn kittens. Kittens we take in would normally be euthanized by shelters because of the constant attention required to give them proper care. We give these kittens a chance at a long, happy life.
Bottle-babies need to be fed every few hours, bathed almost daily, and shown plenty of affection so that they grow up well-adjusted and well-socialized. If you adopt a kitten from Little Orphans Kitten Rescue, you can be sure you are welcoming a happy, healthy, highly sociable kitten into your family!

All our kittens are in foster homes. Appointments can be arranged with the foster family for the kitten you're interested in.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fee is typically $75 for one kitten and $125 if adopting two kittens together. There is a comprehensive adoption questionnaire and agreement form. We require that all kittens adopted from us be kept indoors, be given full access to the home, and never be declawed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joseph, a Union Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Union, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Union.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union paves the way for another one to be saved.
